Instructions for setting up your hammock chair

  2. Sit towards the edge and hold onto the aluminium bars at either side
  3. Gently lower yourself back into the chair
  4. Use the foot sling to raise feet if required
  5. Sit back, relax & enjoy

The hammock chair can be positioned in different ways to offer the greatest comfort from reclined to upright which is ideal for reading.

The fixing of the hammock chair is a little different. The first time you set up your hammock chair you will think it has been put together wrong, but please do not undo any of the ropes as this will make it more difficult to setup
First: . Identify the overhead pole with a length of rope that is attached to both ends of this pole.

A toughened “S” shaped hook has been supplied with the rope to hook your hammock chair from.

Attach this rope to the “s” shaped hook which is positioned in the middle of the rope wrapped around the branch or beam.
You may want to shorten the overhead length of rope as we have allowed extra to tailor to the different hanging circumstances. Next you slide one of the side poles forward until halfway along the length of rope; easing the double wrapped rope around the black metal hoop. This is slightly tricky the first time as you are not sure what this will achieve, have faith!

The second side pole works from the opposite end, but do the same sliding to the middle of the length of rope. The next part is to sit in the hammock chair with your feet still bearing some of your weight and experiment moving one side forward or the other back until you get the perfect inclination for your comfort. Next lift your feet into the footrest and you hopefully are sitting comfortably. Experiment until you find the position you feel relaxed in. After 10 minutes playing around you will master the intricacies of getting comfortable.
