Hammocks for young children


The childsize hammock is only 1.8m long (6 foot) and 1.1m wide (3 foot 6 inches). It's made for children under 6 years of age, but still to the same high standard as the single and double. The children's hammock makes a great gift to new parents as a means of helping relieve colic and rocking new born off to sleep. The gentle swaying motion mimics the movement of floating in the womb and the pleasure the child experiences shines through their face.

IT MUST BE STATED THAT A BABY OR YOUNG CHILD SHOULD NOT BE LEFT ON ITS OWN AT ANYTIME WHILE IN THE HAMMOCK. THE HAMMOCK SHOULD NOT BE SUSPENDED AT ANY GREAT HEIGHT OFF THE FLOOR; LESS THAN 15cm (6 inches). AND THE HAMMOCK SHOULD NOT BE HUNG NEAR ANY SOURCE OF HEAT; ESPECIALLY AN OPEN FIRE!
